Report on Around the World in a Day

Star Kids successfully hosted its Class B “Around the World in a Day” programme on Friday, 10th July 2026, at 11:00 a.m., taking the audience on a delightful journey through the cultures and traditions of different countries. The programme was graced by the distinguished presence of our Honourable Chairman, Madam Nini Sekhose, our Respected Principal, Madam Christina Sekhose, our Administrator, Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose and our dear parents.

The programme began with an Invocation led by Madam Tainla, Supervisor. The audience then travelled across Japan, Sweden, India, South Korea and Spain through engaging narrations, lively traditional dances and beautiful songs presented by the students under the guidance of their respective teachers.

The Japan segment featured Tanko Bushi, a traditional Japanese dance and Doraemon no Uta. Sweden showcased the folk dance Vastgotapolska and the gospel dance Sa God. India brought patriotic spirit with O Desh Mere, followed by the energetic dances London Thumakda and Nachde Ne Saare. South Korea delighted the audience with the Il-ssip Korean dance and the folk song Arirang. The programme concluded its cultural journey with Spain, presenting the lively dance Bidi Bidi Bom and the cheerful Spanish song Hola Hola.

The event was a wonderful celebration of global cultures, giving the children an opportunity to learn about different countries while confidently showcasing their talents. The programme was gracefully compered by Miss Konjai and Miss Menguzonuo, while the sound system was efficiently managed by Sir Takotemsu.

The event concluded with the Benediction by Miss Eunice.
