Nursery Outing 2026
To explore the world beyond their classrooms while learning through joyful experiences the Nursery students visited the Stone Sculpture Garden NEZCC on 27th February for a delightful educational outing. In total there were 59 students with 12 teachers and 4 non teaching staff.
The little ones arrived at school bubbling with excitement, ready for their special day. Accompanied by their teachers and sisters, they travelled together by bus, filling the journey with happy chatter, action songs, and bright smiles. Yongmen from Milky Ways was so excited for the outing as she sat on the bus, she asked, ‘Are we going for a picnic?’. Liziro excitedly pointed towards the excavator through the window of the moving bus and said look it’s an excavator. As the road was slightly bumpy Kuvuka from Precious Angels curiously asked,’Why is the bus tuk tuk tuk?’. Susho from Angel Stars noticed a pond and excitedly said,’Look fish!’, showing his curiousity about the World around him. Their enthusiasm made the short trip lively and full of energy.
As they entered the garden, the children were captivated by the peaceful atmosphere and the impressive stone artworks displayed all around. They walked along the pathways, carefully observing the different sculptures and their unique shapes. Many of them curiously wondered how such large and detailed figures were created, while others simply stood admiring the creativity behind each piece. The visit gently introduced them to the beauty of art blended harmoniously with nature. They also noticed people practicing dance in the park and on seeing this with excitement and confidence the students of Angel Stars also tried to copy the moves, turning the moment into a joyful and unforgettable experience.
The spacious park area quickly became their favourite spot. Jedidiah ran towards the playground and happily said,’The park is so big’. The Nursery children enjoyed playing on the swings and slides, laughing as they took turns and encouraged one another. Nisana from Tiny Twinkles also enjoyed the seesaw and said,’It’s going up and down’.
After playtime, they gathered together to enjoy their snacks and lunch, sharing food and stories. Sitting together in the open surroundings made the meal even more special and strengthened their sense of friendship.
Before leaving, the group assembled for photographs, capturing the bright smiles and memorable moments of the day. Tired yet extremely happy, the children boarded the buses for the return journey. Shihrayio who noticed one of the sisters helping his friend to board the bus called, ‘Sister, please come inside.’
The outing turned out to be a wonderful blend of fun, exploration, and learning. It provided the Nursery students with a refreshing experience outside the classroom and left them with cheerful memories that they will treasure for a long time.
