Reading Competition
The 1st Reading Competition for Class B was held on November 18, 2023. Reading helps children get to know sounds, words, and language, and develop early literacy skills, thereby contributing to the development of fluent reading. Reading competitions inspire children to want to read even more, whether they are already avid readers or a bit reluctant. This year, four students from each section participated in the competition.
- Precious Pearls: Imchatemsu Chungmiri,Muhsa Chipen,Meyiren Longchar,Liana Aier
- Heavenly Waters: Amayah Charles Joshua, Manom M Walim, Muwalung Sangtam, Zupuki Kiba
- Shining Pluto: Bhuvika Chetri, Lirosen Jamir, Molungnen Imsong, Trisha Das
- Polaris: Ilivina Chophy, Micah Shohe, Toito Sumi, Toluto Achumi
- Smart Earthlings: Hike Chophi, Nighuna Zhimomi, Nikono Terhuja, Samlam Rangkau
There were a total of two rounds, and 6 students were selected for the 2nd and final round. Amayah Charles Joshua from Heavenly Waters emerged as the winner, with Toluto Achumi in 2nd position and Micah Shohe in 3rd position, both from Polaris. Miss Eunice and Madam Tainla hosted the competition. The judges were Miss Nzanbeni Ngullie , Miss Kekhrienino Sogotsu, and Madam Rebika Sharma. Our Administrator, Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose, congratulated the winners and handed out the certificates and prizes.
