Math Quiz -Class A

“The Math Quiz Competition of Class A on September 26, 2023, was a resounding success, embodying the idea that “Mathematics gives us hope that every problem has a solution.” This event provided a platform to celebrate students’ enthusiasm for learning and mathematics.

The competition aimed to help students identify their capabilities, go beyond textbook knowledge, and bridge the gap between theory and practical application of mathematical concepts. It boosted confidence, encouraged quick thinking, and fostered creativity in problem-solving.

With Miss Lika Zhimomi and Madam Rebika as quiz masters, the event was lively. Honorable Chairman Madam Nini Sekhose, Director Sir Vihutuo Sekhose, Administrator Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose, and parents of participants attended.

The event started with invocation by Miss Nzanbeni Ngullie. The time keeper was Madam Preety, scorekeepers were Miss Arenla Imti and Miss Lhingneichin Roselyn. The powerpoint incharge was Miss Hukali Wotsa.

The competition featured six teams representing six classes of Class A, competing for the top three positions. It included eight rounds, covering various topics in mathematics. The rapid-fire and worksheet rounds were particularly thrilling, with Little Dippers emerging as the winners. Shooting Stars secured the second place, and Blue Dolphin came in third after a spirited tie-breaker.

The audience’s active participation added to the excitement, and their involvement was noteworthy. Little Dippers claimed the title of the 1st Annual Math Quiz Competition 2023, marking a memorable event filled with learning and laughter.

Miss Nzanbeni Ngullie delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, organizers, and supporters. The competition concluded with a benediction prayer by Miss Risimenla, leaving everyone with a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie.”
