Kindergarten Outing Report
Date: 7th February 2025
Destination: Zone Niathu Park
Class: B
Total Students Attended: 135
Purpose of Outing:
The purpose of this outing was to provide our Kindergarten students with an opportunity to explore nature, enjoy outdoor activities and engage in physical play. The visit also aimed to enhance social skills and provide a refreshing break from classroom learning.
The children enjoyed a picnic lunch in a designated area where they had the chance to socialize with their peers and teachers in a relaxed setting. They enjoyed a walk through the park where
they observed trees, flowers and enjoyed playing in an array of play things. The children spent time at the park’s playground where they climbed, slid and swung on the equipment. It was an excellent opportunity for them to develop their motor skills and practice social interaction.
The children showed great enthusiasm during the outing, eagerly participating in all activities and asking questions. The children were fascinated by the ambience of the reception as well as the golden faucets and basin and the overall
cleanliness of the washroom. The girls of Polaris and Heavenly Waters sang the apt song all through the way while returning from the park. They were excited and curious about the natural environment
asking questions about the plants, insects
and animals they saw. Some girls asked why there were so many ants.
The outing was an excellent opportunity for the students to practice social skills such as sharing, cooperating, and taking
turns.
All students followed safety rules and stayed with their group during the outing. Teachers and helpers maintained close supervision to ensure all children were safe at all times.
Overall, the outing to the park was a great success, allowing students to connect with nature, engage in physical activities and learn valuable lessons in teamwork
and socialization. The children had a fantastic time, and the outing provided a balance of fun and education.
