
Class B Math Quiz Competition 2025
The 3rd Annual Math Quiz Competition for Class B, Star Kids, took place on 26th September 2025. The event was designed to inspire a greater passion for Mathematics among students, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, spark their curiosity, and boost their confidence.The competition reflected the students’ strong grasp of mathematical concepts and their ability to solve problems swiftly. Every participant exhibited commendable enthusiasm and focus, listening intently and responding with confidence and zeal.
The quiz was conducted by Madam Emilo and Madam Rebika while the event was graced by the presence of our Honorable Administrator,Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose and the parents of the participants.
The program commenced with an invocation by Miss Eunice. The timekeeper was Miss Konjai, while Miss Rukshar and Madam Imlikala assisted by Miss Yangersangla served as the scorekeeper and PowerPoint in-charge.
Five teams, each representing one of the five sections of Class B and comprising four students, participated in the quiz, namely:
Precious Pearls: Liusu T Kiho, Yowe H Konyak, Abeka Chella and Kishegha Yepthomi
Heavenly Waters: ,Elina B Swu, Chentiba, Keyu M Achumi, Likupu Chishi
Shining Pluto: Akum Toshi Lemtur, Michelle Ovung, Ilono V Jimomi, Reuben Shitiri
Polaris: Walakchang Mollier, Ethungbemo Ovung, Mulungtok Jamir, Saanvi Sunar
Smart Earthlings: Mheghito Chophi, Azalea Jamir, Nayuma Rai, Lendiren Kichu.
The competition comprised eight rounds that encompassed a diverse array of mathematical concepts, including practical demonstrations featuring number frames and directional tasks. The highlight of the event was the rapid-fire round, during which participants were challenged to answer fifteen questions within thirty seconds. A tie-breaker round was subsequently conducted among three classes—Precious Pearls, Heavenly Waters, and Shining Pluto—to determine the final standings. Ultimately, Polaris emerged as the winner of the Math Quiz 2025, followed by Precious Pearls in second place, Shining Pluto in third, Heavenly Waters in fourth, and Smart Earthlings securing the fifth position.
Our Honourable Administrator, Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose felicitated the winners with prizes and certificates.
The audience rounds witnessed lively engagement and excitement from the students, who participated with remarkable enthusiasm. The event concluded gracefully with a benediction prayer offered by Miss Alensela, marking a thoughtful and fulfilling end to the competition. It truly proved to be a rewarding and unforgettable experience for all who took part.
