Class A Math Quiz 2025

The 3rd Annual Math Quiz Competition for Class A, Star Kids, was held on 23rd September 2025. The event served as a valuable platform for students to enrich their mathematical knowledge, stimulate their curiosity, and build confidence.

The competition highlighted the students’ strong grasp of mathematical concepts and their quick problem solving abilities. Each participant showcased remarkable enthusiasm and focus, listening intently and responding with eagerness and confidence.

The quiz was conducted by Miss Yangersangla Aier and Miss Julli C. Yanthan, while the event was graced by the presence of Honourable Chairman Madam Nini Sekhose, Director Sir Vihutuo Sekhose, Principal Madam Christina Neikhrienuo, Administrator Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose, and the parents of the participants.

The program commenced with an invocation by Miss Sentijungla. The timekeeper was Miss Sentijungla, while Miss Rukhsar Begum and Miss Arenla Imti assisted by Miss Alensela served as the scorekeeper and PowerPoint in-charge.

Six teams, representing the six sections of Class A, comprising of 4 students each participated in the quiz, namely:
Great Bears: Suneplong Kichu,Molongnenla, Samuel Limbu,Imsuyanger
Little Dippers:Mhayanti Tsopoe,Litiya Changkiri,Samanir Imchen,Nikito Aye
Twinkling Stars: Alovito Jakhalu,Arjong Ozukum,⁠Inukivi Zhimomi,Kinito Sumi
Blue Dolphins:Roli A Sapriina,Sosangyanger Jamir,Sophia Chaonai,Longlenro Yanthan
Birds of Paradise: C Mhabemo Ngullie, Ghoche Chophi,⁠Lirhonthung Tsanglao,Nipuka N Shohe
Shooting Stars:Aosanen Imchen,Takanukshi Jamir, Thungjano Enie,Kingzaley Vury

The competition comprised nine rounds covering a wide range of mathematical topics, including practical demonstrations. After an exciting final worksheet round, Shooting Stars secured the 1st position, followed by Blue Dolphins in 2nd place and Little Dippers in 3rd place.
Director Sir Vihutuo Sekhose presented certificates to the 5th and 6th position holders, Principal Madam Christina Neikhrienuo awarded the 3rd and 4th positions, and Administrator Sir Ketoulhou Sekhose felicitated the 1st and 2nd position winners with prizes and certificates.

The audience rounds saw active participation and enthusiasm from the students, who displayed great zeal throughout. The event concluded with a benediction prayer by Miss Alensela, bringing the competition to a meaningful close.

It was indeed an enriching and memorable experience for everyone involved.
