A total of 130 students, accompanied by 12 teachers and 6 sisters, traveled to the zoo on three buses. The students enjoyed the ride, eagerly chattering, laughing and singing together, excitedly anticipating the wildlife adventures ahead. As they traveled, their eyes widened with excitement, upon catching sight of the rail track glinting in the sunlight on their way. Upon arrival, the students posed for a memorable class-wise photo session before venturing into the zoo’s gate.
The students observed a diverse range of animals and their feeding habits. The zoo was well-maintained, with clean enclosures and adequate signage providing information about each species helped to understand their unique characteristics. Highlights included the powerful physique tiger, quilled porcupines, agility fox, playful monkeys, and colorful birds.
They gained insight into the importance of conservation and wildlife preservation, developed their observation and critical thinking skills by analyzing the animals’ behavior and habitats.
The zoo visit was an enriching experience, providing a unique opportunity to connect with nature and learn about the fascinating world of animals, enhancing their general knowledge. The dedication of the zoo staff in ensuring animal welfare and providing engaging exhibits is truly appreciated.

One visit to the zoo is enough to make you fall in love with nature and it’s beauty. You learn so much about Mother Nature, the animals and birds that live in that habitat. There is always something new to learn about the animal kingdom.
There were separate enclosures for birds, animals and reptiles. They were excited to watch the various kinds of birds and animals and have learnt many interesting features of these animals.
It was an enriching and educative experience for children. They had a great time with their friends and returned with pleasant memories to share with family and friends.
Report by Miss Eunice Chen
Before entering the zoo, we had a class-wise group photo session. Upon entry, the first sight was a beautiful, well-maintained garden brimming with greenery. The zoo features separate, well-protected enclosures for different animals. The students’ first encounter was with monkeys. There were distinct enclosures for birds, animals, and reptiles. The children were particularly amazed by a large, very old tortoise. They also observed a variety of birds, including parrots, eagles, vultures, hornbills, pigeons, and emus. The zoo also showcased wild animals such as leopards, bears, jackals, wild dogs, deer, and porcupines.
After thoroughly exploring the zoo, the group gathered for lunch. The primary objective of this visit was to provide children with an opportunity to see different animals in a setting that reflects their natural environments. This experience aimed to cultivate an understanding that animals, as living beings, have specific needs to survive, fostering compassion and empathy toward them. The educational trip helped the children learn about the diverse animals that exist in the world around them. Additionally, the visit served as an educational platform for students to enhance their knowledge of animal species’ diversity, broadening their general awareness and understanding.
