An educational trip was organized by the school to the Nagaland Science Centre, Dimapur for the students of class B on 17th October 2025. A total of 135 students along with 11 teaching staff and 6 non-teaching staff joined the outing.

During the visit, the children eagerly explored the science exhibits and interactive models. In the hall, they enjoyed trying out various scientific games and tricks with great enthusiasm. By slipping hands through each exhibit, students were able to understand common science concepts including gravity, working of pendulums, pulleys and levers, echo tube, anamorphic mirror, infinity well, air music etc. They were delighted and fascinated to discover how science could be both enjoyable and easy to grasp.

There was also a park where the children had a great time engaging in fun activities. Later, they were transported into a world of wonder as they watched the animated short clips in breathtaking 3D with spectacles. The thrilling experience kept them on the edge of their seats, eyes wide with amazement, reaching out as if they could touch the characters and screaming out of excitment and fear. It was a truly magical experience, and the children enjoyed every moment of the 3D adventure at the theatre and asked for more. Akum Toshi was able to recall his past experience the time when he visited the Centre with his family and was calming his friends by saying that the stones the monkeys were throwing will not hurt us. Daegrik also said that the last time when he visited with his parents he even got to touch the dinosaurs. Right after watching the videos Henjam exclaimed, Wow!! That was so khatarnak. Okivi said “I liked the statue of the dino because I like what dinos look like”. Merang said,”I liked the scary movie because it’s so nice”. Mulungtok and Walakchang said “We liked the aliens in the 3D movie flying in the spaceship because we could follow them”. Eyingo also said that he will surely visit the Centre again.
The trip to the Science Centre proved to be both educational and enjoyable. The experience left them with a sense of wonder and an eagerness to learn more, showing a tangible link between the classroom and the world around them. It sparked curiosity in the young minds and served as an inspiring learning experience for both the students and the teachers.

Class Nursery – 31st October 2025

The Class Nursery embarked on an exciting educational adventure to the Zoological Park on 31st October 2025. The trip aimed to provide the little learners with a joyful learning experience outside the classroom and help them gain a better understanding of the animal world.

Early in the morning, the excited children assembled at the school premises, carrying their water bottles, snacks, and other accessories. After a short briefing about safety and discipline, they boarded the school bus along with their teachers and supporting staff. The bus ride was filled with laughter, singing of their favourite songs, and cheerful chatter as the children eagerly looked forward to their day at the zoo.

Upon reaching the Zoological Park, the children were delighted to see a variety of animals, birds, and reptiles. They observed graceful deer, a black bear, playful monkeys, and many other fascinating species. The teachers took the opportunity to explain interesting facts about the animals — their habitats and food habits — making the learning experience both fun and meaningful.

The children were curious and full of wonder.
Zhove giggled and said, “I can’t see the bear. Why is the bear hiding from us?” while Peushen and Niza started counting monkeys — “There are two!” “No, there are many!” they exclaimed excitedly. Soburen laughed, saying, “The monkey is eating a banana, it’s so funny!” and Alisen shouted in amazement, “Miss, the snake is so big!”

Chenden looked carefully at the reptile house and whispered, “That python’s eyes are staring at me.” Ethan, full of curiosity, asked, “Can I feed some leaves to the monkey?” and later wondered, “Why are there only two emu birds? Where is the baby emu?” Akivini asked thoughtfully, “Do deer sleep standing up?” while Imnuksungla smiled and said happily, “I like the zoo because I want to go to the zoo very much!”

Saronthung, however, was a bit disappointed and said softly, “Miss, I didn’t see the tiger,”the teachers explained that sometimes the tiger likes to rest in its den, away from the visitors.

One of the most exciting and thrilling moments came when the children reached the crocodile enclosure. There, they saw a long-snouted crocodile slowly swimming in the water, glaring with its sharp eyes. Its scaly body glistened in the sunlight as it moved silently through the pond. Some children were amazed and thrilled, while a few were a little scared. Yimnir held the teacher’s hand and said Miss, I’m so scared! While Khadi asked in a nervous voice, “Miss, is the crocodile going to eat us?” — which made everyone giggle as the teacher assured them they were perfectly safe.

While exploring the zoo, Akevi caught a whiff of a stinky leaf and burst out laughing, shouting, “Who farted?” — and soon, the whole group joined in laughter!

After exploring all the animal enclosures, everyone gathered in the garden area to enjoy lunch together. The children happily shared their food, talked about their favourite animals, and laughed with their friends.

After lunch, the group set off on a nature walk, ready for a new adventure! The path led them through a beautiful forest filled with hanging tree roots, tall trees, and bright green leaves that danced in the breeze. The air was cool and fresh, some parts of the trail were muddy, and before long, their little shoes were splashed and covered with mud — but that only added to the fun and laughter! Mizaan looked down and said “Miss,my shoes are dirty!”
As they walked deeper into the forest trail, Yashijung looked around curiously and asked, “Miss, is the lion going to come here?”-the teachers assured the children that lions don’t live in this part of the forest
While Menanger excitedly pointed out, “Miss, there are two small bridges!” as everyone crossed carefully, feeling like real little adventurers on a jungle exploration.

Before heading back, the teachers took group photographs to capture the joyful moments.

The outing ended with the safe return of all the children to the school. It was truly a memorable, exciting, and educational day, filled with learning, laughter, and happy memories that the little ones will cherish for a long time.

The third outing for Class A took place on the 29th of October, marking one of the most memorable days of the academic year. The destination was the Zoological Park, where 121 enthusiastic students, accompanied by 12 teachers and 4 helpers, set out for a day filled with learning, laughter, and exploration.

The morning began with a short prayer, dedicating the day to God’s guidance and protection. Soon after, the cheerful group boarded the buses, their voices filling the air with their all-time favorite song, “The Wheels on the Bus.” The excitement was evident as the little ones pointed out familiar landmarks, some shouting gleefully, “This is my way to my home!”

Upon reaching the Zoological Park, the young explorers could hardly contain their excitement. One of the students, Kupu, declared that he wanted to walk around and see every animal, while Liza shared that she hadn’t been able to sleep the night before because of how excited she was for the trip.

As the children moved in pairs, holding hands with their partners and taking charge of their own belongings, they joyfully sang “Walking in the Jungle.” Every new animal encounter was met with cheers and claps of wonder. A particularly amusing moment came when Sammy, upon hearing the monkeys chattering loudly, called out, “Can you all behave well for some time?”—a moment that made everyone burst into laughter.

Throughout the day, the students displayed remarkable curiosity and energy. Even after hours of exploring, they could be heard saying, “We are not tired! Please let us walk for some more time!” Though their enthusiasm was boundless, the time came to head back, and the little ones reluctantly began their return journey.

The visit to the zoo was not just recreational—it was deeply educational. The children learned that every creature has its own way of communicating, even if they cannot speak like humans. They observed the diversity of the animal kingdom and reflected on the beauty of God’s creation, developing a sense of care and respect for living beings.

As the buses rolled back toward school, some children sang softly while others rested peacefully after an eventful day. It was indeed a wholesome and heartwarming outing, one that strengthened bonds, filled hearts with joy, and reminded everyone that this would be the last class outing of the academic year—a memory to cherish for years to come.
