Annual Day 2022

8th ANNUAL DAY

The 8Th Annual Day of Star Kids was held on the 6th of December at the Little Star Hr. Sec School Sports Complex at Burma Camp. It was graced by the presence of our honorable Principal and Administrator. The event was hosted by Miss Nzanbeni, Madam Emilo and Miss Pusatonuo and was attended by around 564 parents. The event started with the Invocation by one of our parent Madam Abole Chophy. A welcome song was presented by the enthusiastic and smart students of Class A accompanied by the respective Class Teachers.

Our Administrator delivered the Welcome Address, which was very motivational. He thanked the parents for their co-operation and for bestowing their trust upon us. He also shared about the importance and impact of Annual Day or such events in a Child’s life. i.e how it helps them boost their self confidence, help them make friends and overall progress in their speaking and listening skills. He also announced that from next year onwards we will be hosting two Annual Day i.e for Class Nursery and Class A and the other one for the Kindergarten Graduates. He further stated that the teacher parent relationship should be strong and mutual.

This event showcased various talents and skills of the students through their role play, singing, dancing and speech. The students did an amazing job in exhibiting great talents. There were a total of 21 exciting items performed by our young ones, out of which there were a total of 11 dance items of different forms i.e Zumba, choreography and hip hop etc. There was also a Memory Verse Recitation presented in the form of Stomping. There were two group songs and two plays based on the Reading Book and one Biblical Act performance.

Our Supervisor highlighted us about the activities and events held in the academic year 2022 in her annual School Report. It was very informative and detailed.

The students who had 100% attendance were awarded certificate for their sincerity and hard work throughout the whole academic session. There were a total of 20 students who achieved this Award. There were also two teachers Madam Emilo and Miss Nzanbeni Ngullie who were awarded the 100% attendance certificate. The teachers of Birds of Paradise, Tiny Twinkles and Precious Pearls were acknowledged for their hard work and dedication in maintaining the decorum of their classrooms with a cash of 7000, 5000 and 3000 respectively.

Madam Tainla was also acknowledged with a cash of 50,000 for completing her long term (10 years) service in the school.

The programme concluded with the Benediction by our parent Madam Atoho Zhimomi.

The event was a grand success as all the participants gave a power pact performance. Both the students and parents enjoyed the programme and the series of special items which were performed by the little ones.
