Annual Day Starkids 2024

The Annual Day celebration at Starkids on December 5, 2024, was a vibrant and joyous occasion that highlighted the talents and creativity of the young learners. The program commenced with an invocation by the Chairman of LSHSS, followed by a delightful welcome song performed by Class A students under the guidance of Madam Hukali and Miss Rukshar. The Administrator delivered a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the day. Among the standout performances were the dance “God is Over the Moon” by the Class Nursery group “Tiny Twinkles,” led by Madam Dolley and Miss Sukumlo, and the “Rhymes Medley” by Class A students under Miss Sentijungla. A moving skit titled “Break Every Chain” by the Nursery group “Precious Angels,” under Miss Kekhrienino and Madam Preety, received hearty applause.

Other notable performances included “Big Big Dreams,” a fancy dress and song presentation by Class A (Great Bears) led by Miss Nzanbeni, and a traditional showcase by the Nursery group “Milky Ways,” under Miss Mhasivinuo and Miss Jungshimenla. Class A students charmed the audience with a theatrical adaptation of The Three Little Pigs,directed by Miss Risemenla and Miss Lika, while the Nursery group “Angel Stars” entertained with the energetic “Banana Cha Cha” dance led by Miss Khane and Miss Takunaro.

The highlight of the event was the awards ceremony, which recognized various contributors.” The Teaching and Learning Awards” acknowledged the exceptional creativity and dedication of teachers in fostering an engaging learning environment:
1st Prize:Miss Kekhrienino (Precious Angels)
2nd Prize: Miss Jungshimenla (Milky Ways)
3rd Prize: Madam Tainla (Precious Pearls)

Additionally, Miss Khane was honored for 100% attendance. Long-term service awards were presented to Sister Ajok (Support Staff) and teachers Miss Nzanbeni Ngullie, Miss Lika Zhimo, and Madam Rebika Sharma for their remarkable 10 years of service, and to Miss Takunaro for her 5 years of dedication. The recipients received cash prizes along with certificates.

The performances continued with “The Very Busy Spider” by Nursery students, directed by Miss Khane and her team, and an illusion dance by Class A students under Madam Rebecca and Miss Arenla. The event concluded with a medley by Class A (Blue Dolphins) led by Miss Roselyn and Madam Hukali, followed by a benediction by Pastor Vikugha G. Zhimo.

The Annual Day reflected the dedication and enthusiasm of students and teachers alike, celebrating creativity, teamwork, and the joy of learning.
