9th Annual Day 2023
The 9th Annual Day for Class Nursery and Class A unfolded on December 5, 2023, at the vibrant Burma Camp Sports Complex. Miss Menangmenla and Miss Konjai, a dynamic duo, charmed as hosts, initiating the event with an invigorating invocation led by the Honourable Chairman, Madam Nini.
The occasion was a canvas for the extraordinary talents of Class Nursery and Class A students. Our esteemed Administrator, Sir Kethoulou Sekhose, set the tone with a warm welcome, extending greetings to parents and inspiring everyone present.
Captivating traditional dances and harmonious group songs filled the air, with a mesmerizing umbrella dance and a “Fashion for Change” segment featuring little ones confidently strutting down the ramp in creatively recycled costumes.
The play, “Might of Faith,” left the audience in awe as young performers skillfully portrayed the theme of holding onto faith and walking in it. The annual school report, eloquently presented by Supervisor Madam Tainla, highlighted the impactful events held throughout the year.
Dedication in the teaching staff was celebrated with Madam Dolley Biswas and Madam Nungshienla Pongen each awarded 50,000 for their commendable 10 years of service. Additionally, Miss Lhingneichin Roselyn, Miss Jungshimenla, and Miss Hukali Wotsa received a 5000 award for completing 5 years of service. Our helpful support staff, Sister Alenuo, received a cash prize of 20,000 for rendering her commendable 10 years of service.
Special recognition was extended to Madam Rebicca Sharma and Miss Rukhsar, recipients of the 100% Attendance Award for their unwavering commitment.
The Best Classroom Learning Materials Award went to Angel Stars, Blue Dolphin, and Twinkling Stars, each receiving cash prizes of 5000, 3000, and 2000, respectively, for their creativity and effective teaching aids. Twelve students from Class Nursery and Class A were celebrated for achieving 100% attendance throughout the year.
The event concluded on a poignant note with a heartfelt benediction from Mrs. Throngpila Sangtam, Christian Education Supervisor at Sangtam Baptist Church Dimapur. The 9th Annual Day Celebration left an indelible mark, not only celebrating achievements but also fostering a spirit of unity and dedication within the school community.
