Spelling Bee 2023

Language plays an important role in all-around development of a student. Appropriate words with correct spelling convey the right message and a school plays a vital role to train the child in this direction. Spelling is important because it aids in reading. It helps cement the connection that is shared between sounds and letters.

The Annual Spelling Bee Competition for Class B was held on the 4th November. There was a total of 20 participants with 4 participants from each section. 

 The competition started with great zeal and enthusiasm. The students participated earnestly in the competition. Their efforts and team spirit were appreciated by one and all. There was a total of 11 rounds which included 2 visual rounds, buzzer round and rapid fire round. It was an intense competition where the teams performed neck and neck till the last round keeping everyone in suspense. 

The first position was bagged by Polaris represented by Liani Assumi, Lihmei Wangnao, Akeno A Achumi and Micah Shohe. The second position was bagged by Heavenly Waters represented by Rathai Zeliang, Manom M Walim, Sheimie and Amayah Charles Joshua. And the third position was bagged by Shining Pluto represented by Hedilong Mongzar, Pokyimer Walling, Abhinav and Anguvi Chella.
