7th Annual Around the world

Around the World in a Day 7th July 2023

It is so important to teach our preschoolers that there is a great big world beyond their home and backyard. Traveling to other countries with preschoolers can be challenging, so the next best thing is to bring other countries to our preschoolers. “Around the world in a day” event takes children on a journey around the world! Each country has something different to share: geography, culture, dance, tourist attractions, interesting facts and music too.

Not only is this event designed to help the students learn about different parts of the world, but it also designed to help them understand different cultures.
The students gain a better understanding of cultural differences and how they impact our lives. They focus on celebrating similarities between cultures rather than emphasizing differences.
The around the world event for 2023 was held on 7th July hosted by Class B students. The chairperson was Miss Nzanbeni Ngullie. Altogether there were 15 countries where 10 countries displayed their fluency in singing, dancing and cultural show on stage while the remaining 5 countries held an exhibition with handmade models of different categories of each country.
